Dick Cain

For the past thirty years, Dick has served in various roles in vocational ministry.  He has served as a church planter with Perimeter Ministries in Atlanta, GA, a pastor in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama, a missionary in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a youth pastor for First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dick and Scottie did their undergraduate work at UNC-Chapel Hill and completed their Masters of Theology degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary.  Dick also has his Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. His dissertation focused on “Recovering One of the Lost Tools of Christian Spirituality:  Praying the Psalms.” Here is a link to the chapters of that dissertation: Recovering One of the Lost Tools of Christian Spirituality

He and Scottie have been married for 32 years and have four children and two sons-in-law. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading, watching college football and basketball, and taking his family and friends waterskiing.
